Dalida Innes

Dalida Innes (Australia) is a self-taught wildlife, landscape and travel photographer based in Margaret River, Western Australia. Originally from France, Dalida spent 17 years living in Sydney before moving west, carrying with her an adventurous spirit and a deep love for nature, photography and exploring the world. Inspired from an early age by National Geographic documentaries, she eventually picked up a camera to capture the wildlife, landscapes and moments of wonder she encountered along the way.

For Dalida, photography is a way of preserving moments that might otherwise disappear — freezing a feeling, encounter or detail that the eye may not have time to remember. Her travels regularly take her to remarkable places, where encounters with nature and the people she meets continue to shape the stories she tells through her images.

Her work has received international recognition, including being selected as a finalist in the National Geographic Travel Photographer of the Year Contest and being named a highly recommended semifinalist in the Africa Geographic Photographer of the Year competition. She has also received recognition in the Monochrome Photography Awards and the ND Awards for her wildlife photography.
