Jamie Smart 'Eagle Eyed Girl'

Jamie Smart (UK), also known as the Eagle Eyed Girl, is an award-winning young wildlife photographer whose love of nature began when she first picked up her dad’s camera at just six years old. What started during a family nature walk quickly grew into a remarkable passion for photographing birds, wildlife and the natural world. Through her images, Jamie hopes to inspire people of all ages to appreciate the beauty around them and understand the importance of protecting it for the future.

Despite her young age, Jamie has already received an extraordinary collection of national and international awards. Her achievements include becoming the youngest-ever overall winner of the RSPCA Young Photographer Awards in 2023, winning British Wildlife Young Photographer of the Year in 2024 and being named the overall Young Travel Photographer of the Year in 2025. Her work has also received major recognition in Wildlife Photographer of the Year and numerous other wildlife and nature photography competitions. In 2026, Jamie was included in The Sunday Times Young Power List as one of Britain’s most inspiring young people.

Jamie began photographing with her dad’s Nikon D500 and now works with Nikon’s Z system, exploring everything from birds and wildlife to macro, studio and product photography. Alongside her photography, she is a voice-over artist and a Patron of Cuan Wildlife Rescue, continuing to use her growing platform to encourage curiosity, creativity and care for the natural world.
