Dr. Will Hawkes

Will is an insect migration scientist from North Wales. His work takes him to beautiful insect migration hotspots such as the Pyrenees and Cyprus. A camera is perpetually slung around his neck as photographs are amongst the most important storytelling tool of our modern age. Will firmly believes that by telling stories and inspiring more people to take an interest in our natural world, we will ensure future generations have a natural world to enjoy. Through this belief he is always happy to give talks and be part of large media campaigns, the largest so far being for TED and The Guardian.
